The concentration of C, N, O, Ca, Cl, K, Na, P, S, Al, Fe, Mg, Si was analyzed in 70 bioptates taken from five separate points on placenta. Statistically significant (p<0.05) difference in mass fraction of certain elements in bioptates was discovered independent of the abstraction point. Furthermore, the sequential representation of the elements content from higher to lower was determined as: C > O > N.
