We continue publishing materials created by the Virtual Chemistry Museum project, led by its editor-in-chief, Alexey Sergeyevich Paevsky. The idea for the Virtual Chemistry Museum originated at the N. S. Kurnakov Institute of General and Inorganic Chemistry of the Russian Academy of Sciences and was implemented in the winter of 2023–2024. The platform has been created to accumulate materials on the history of chemistry and interesting facts about its prominent figures, as well as stories about the most important, useful, and unusual substances, materials, and, of course, chemical elements. For the third year, the museum has been developing thanks to grant support from the Russian Ministry of Education and Science as part of the federal project Popularization of Science and Technology and is one of the projects of the Decade of Science and Technology. Readers are invited to explore a story about one element from the ever-expanding interactive Periodic Table of D. I. Mendeleev in the museum’s New Popular Library of Chemical Elements section.
