From April 20 to 24, 2026, the first Russian conference X-ray Methods for Studying Substances and Materials was held at the N. S. Kurnakov Institute of General and Inorganic Chemistry of the Russian Academy of Sciences. It brought together nearly 200 participants from across the country. The conference was organized by the Russian Ministry of Education and Science, the Russian Academy of Sciences’ Division of Chemistry and Materials Science, the Russian Academy of Sciences’ Scientific Council for Inorganic Chemistry, the N. S. Kurnakov Institute of General and Inorganic Chemistry of the Russian Academy of Sciences, and the world-class scientific center Center for Rational Use of Rare Metal Raw Materials.
