The 24th Chernyaev Conference on Chemistry, Analytics, and Technology of Platinum Metals will be held from June 15 to 19, 2026, at the N. S. Kurnakov Institute of General and Inorganic Chemistry. The conference is timed to coincide with the 100th anniversary of Academician I. I. Chernyaev’s discovery of the phenomenon of trans-influence. The co-chairs of the program committee, Doctor of Chemistry and Corresponding Member of the Russian Academy of Sciences Konstantin Yuryevich Zhizhin and Doctor of Chemistry Tatyana Maksimovna Buslaeva, discuss the conference’s history, role, and prospects.
