The main achievements of chiral chromatography over 50 years are
discussed: the methods in which the modes of chiral chromatography
are implemented and the evolution of technologies for the preparation
of chiral sorbents are considered. Examples of many applications of chiral
chromatography are given: from the analysis of drugs to the diagnosis of
diseases and aging processes, the pharmacokinetics of drugs in medicine,
quality control and food safety, environmental pollution monitoring, and
forensic chemistry. New applications are considered separately.
