The VMK-Optoelektronika company has made a significant contribution to the development of spectral instrumentation for atomic emission spectrometry. The cooperation of the Central Plant Laboratory of the Novosibirsk Chemical Concentrates Plant with this company began in the mid‑1990s with the upgrading of spectrographs and quantometers. At present, an Express spectrometer, which includes a universal Vezuvii‑3 generator. Flexibility in setting the generator discharge parameters and the capabilities of the Atom 3.3 software  allow analysis of uranium powder samples evaporated from the graphite electrode crater with metrological characteristics that meet regulatory requirements. The Express spectrometer allows the Central Plant Laboratory to successfully cope with the tasks of analytical control of uranium products and other analytes.
